From the EE of NC website Environmental Educators of North Carolina (EENC) is the professional association for environmental educators that promotes professional development opportunities to help create an environmentally literate citizenry and facilitate networking opportunities. For our 2012 Conference, we will be descending upon the East Carolina Scout Reservation, located in Blounts Creek, North Carolina. The Scout Reservation is located along the banks of the Pamlico River in Beaufort County and encompasses 800 acres. The conference location is rustic, but will provide a wonderful place for conference participants to reconnect with nature and each other. The conference schedule will allow time for you to explore the Reservation on the water, and on the land. The Reservation is also home to one of the newest EE Centers in North Carolina, the PotashCorp ECO Lodge!
Project Underground will be introduced on Friday at the conference.
